The first edition of the track and field competition ‘Madiran’ was held in the Hashtgerd Industrial Town with the participation of 330 male and female athletes from the staff of Madiran’s subsidiary companies. The runners competed in a race from Madiran Square to the Persian Gulf Square, covering a distance of 1,800 meters.

In this edition of the competitions, 277 male personnel from Madiran’s Electronic Industries, Plastic Industries, and Sales Support participated. At the end of these competitions, Mohammad Rashvand Aveh, Salar Salimi, and Ali Ghashlaghi Rezaei secured the first to third positions respectively. Gentlemen Sajjad Soltani, Hesam-al-Din Bayat, Soran Mohammadpour, Amjad Valipour, Javad Javadi, Amir Mohammad Mansouri, and Amirhossein Noormohammadi were ranked fourth to tenth respectively. Additionally, in the category for participants over 40 years old, Mr. Seyed Amirhossein Mousavi, Omran Shamkhani, and Mehdi Hekmatfar finished first to third respectively.

In the women’s competition, there were 50 participants. At the end, the ladies Mina Gholami, Mina Arianmehr, Hanieh Derakhshan, Fatemeh Mansour Rosta, and Seyedeh Samira Hazarkhani secured the first to fifth positions respectively. In the category for winners over 40 years old, the ladies Rahleh Piri, Fereshteh Zarriz, and Leila Hamzei finished first to third respectively. Cash prizes were awarded to all the winners.
